The new Sunny Beam displays real-time power output for the plant and up to 4 individual inverters numerically and graphically. It also stores a month's worth of production data for review at any time. Its sleek design incorporates a solar cell to enhance battery performance and the large LCD screen displays key data at a glance. Because the Sunny Beam can be placed anywhere within range of the inverters, from a desktop to the kitchen counter, system monitoring is now more convenient than ever. The Sunny Beam can monitor up to four inverters and provide simultaneous display of output power, daily energy, and energy total. The Sunny Beam automatically logs each day's energy production and displays it in graph format for the past thirty days. Based on the Energy Production of the PV plant, the Sunny Beam will also calculate the amount of CO2 and money that has been saved by the plant. The built-in solar cell keeps the internal batteries fully charged. The internal batteries may also be recharged via the built-in USB port. The Sunny Beam is compatible with both old and new Sunny Boys and is an excellent upgrade to an existing system. Data from the Sunny Beam can also be displayed and saved to a PC with Sunny Data Control software. The Sunny Beam menus are easily navigated with a simple selector knob.
