Committed to achieving energy performance in their products and energy savings for our customers, Natural Light has developed a new state of the art design for the 10", 13" and 18" tubular skylight models. The new design incorporates thin clear polycarbonate layers installed in the lower end of the light pipe. These additional thin, clear polycarbonate layers improve the U-factor and Solar Heat Gain Coefficient.
Why Tubular Skylights Tubular Skylights are far more efficient than traditional skylights. Installs in less than two hours without the need of framework, drywall or painting. Because of the design, tubular skylights are very energy efficient; virtually no heat gain or loss is associated with the system. UV absorbing materials in the dome and diffuser ensures that there will be no furniture/carpet discoloration. The mirror-like light pipe provides a tremendous amount of light using a relatively small area, thus enabling installation a possibility in virtually any area. The engineered diffuser spreads the natural light throughout room and enhancing the true colors of the space. Even with all these advantages, Tubular Skylights are far less expensive than conventional skylights!

Hurricane Tested and Approved: (HTL01097) The Natural Light Tubular Skylight under went numerous tests by the Hurricane Test Laboratory, Inc. in Riviera Beach, Florida and successfully passed to achieve the rating of "hurricane approved". The missile impact test consisted of shooting lumber at high speeds directly at the skylight dome.

From the dome to the diffuser, Natural Light tubular skylights are engineered to be easy to install, trouble free and maintenance free.
The Dome is constructed of high impact modified acrylic. Considerably stronger than regular acrylic, it easily withstands wide temperature variations. This material is also UV stabilized, absorbing 99% of UV rays while maintaining optic clarity.
The Roof Jack is .080 aluminum, making it one of the thickest flashings on the market. Its unique forward sloping design eliminates light robbing elbows in most installations and it fits on any flat or pitched roof. The round seamless flange is designed to uniformly expand and contract under changing environmental conditions ensuring years of leak free operation. Easily paintable to blend in with your roof, its low, unobtrusive profile makes it appealing to home owners associations.
The Stress Collar is exclusive to Natural Light tubular skylights. This seamless aluminum collar is factory fastened to the dome and functions to equalize the stress around it. The collar is connected to the roofjack eliminating screws into the dome; avoiding the major cause of leakage
The Light Pipe is silver coated aluminum with a total reflectivity of 95%. The pipe is easily trimmed with shears during installation.
The Trim Ring is seamless aluminum. Powder coated for durability, it will blend into any decor.
The Diffuser is designed with a precise arc for exact light dispersion without spot lighting or glare. Available in soft white, or prismatic, dome or flat, it snaps into the trim ring for a snug, dust and moisture free seal. The flat diffuser is used where the dome is not prefered. The dome diffuser disperses more light than the flat diffuser.
