Xantrex TR-REMOTE - Trace Series Remote ON/OFF Switch

The TR-REMOTE ON/OFF SWITCH (TR-REMOTE) duplicates the ON/STANDBY switch on the Trace Series™ Inverter/Charger and displays general system operating parameters. The TR-REMOTE ships with a 50 ft (15 m) length of special 6-conductor cable which connects directly to the Trace Series Inverter/Charger's COM port.

The TR-REMOTE includes the following features.

• Easy-to-Read Indicator Light
• Front Panel Control
• Plug-in Installation

The following system operating parameters are displayed with a single indicator light.

• Inverter Status (ON/OFF)
• Fault or Warning Indicator

Operation When the TR-REMOTE is used with the Trace Series Inverter/Charger the red indicator light will display the following:

• Solid:
  Normal operation. If qualified AC line is present, unit is in charge/standby mode and passing AC through to the loads. If qualified AC line is not present, unit is in invert mode.
• Slow Flashing:
  Active Warning is present.
• Fast Flashing:
  Active Fault is present.
• Off:
  The unit is off.

The TR-REMOTE must be connected before turning the inverter ON from the ON/STANDBY button. If the unit is not responding to the TR-REMOTE, switch the unit OFF and then ON using the ON/STANDBY button.
