AURORA INDOOR PVI-3600
The first transformerless inverter certified to UL 1741, the PVI-3600 raises the performance bar for residential solar inverters. With peak efficiencies of 96%, two independent Max Power Point Trackers (MPPT), and an industry-leading input voltage window of 90 to 530 volts DC, the Aurora PVI-3600 is the most flexible and state-of-the-art solar inverter available today.
The PVI-3600 is available in an indoor or outdoor model, both of which can be configured for operation at either 208 volts or 240 volts AC. Both units include LCD displays and integrated RS-485 communications ports, however the indoor unit boasts more fully featured graphical display and and an RS232 port for monitoring by a local computer.
The Aurora utilizes state-of-the-art silicon power devices including CoolMOS™, Silicon Carbide Diodes and Insulated Gate Bi-polar Transistors (IGBTs) that help reduce switching losses. Robust and reliable, Aurora was designed to last up to 25 years and features large derating on all major components and are enclosed in rugged but attractive enclosures.

Smart Controls
Aurora controls are DSP (Digital Signal Processor) based with sophisticated control and self-diagnostics algorithms. A 128 x 128 graphical LCD shows the unit's operating status, its performance and diagnostic message. Four scrolling keys on the front panel of the unit are used to navigate menus for data display and parameter settings. It also displays the dollar value of the energy produced and amount of CO2 offset.
Best in Class Communication Capabilities
Auroras come standard with an integrated RS–485 port allowing monitoring of up to 31 inverters on a local PC using the free Aurora Communicator software. In addition, the indoor unit has an integrated RS-232 port for easy monitoring of a single inverter using a local Windows-compatible computer. Internet-based monitoring is also available and additional monitoring and communications options such as wireless, Ethernet and cell phone monitoring will be made available over time.
